NetMAA is the non-profit organization that serves the Myanmar community and promotes the art and culture of Myanmar, also known as Burma. Because of Mr. Naing’s initiation and devotion to Myanmar community with countless volunteer hours, younger generations of Myanmar Americans who have become detached from Burmese culture can be reconnected with their heritage.
Mr. Naing currently serves on the Myanmar Arts Council at the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena. He also serves as the Chairman of the Burmese Complete Count Committee (BCCC), a partnership with the 2010 U.S. Census Bureau. He is a Transportation Engineer for the California Department of Transportation with over 10 years of state and local governmental experiences in engineering, planning, and administrative management. He graduated from the University of California of Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is a member of the Professional Engineers in California Government Organization (PECG).
